Consulting For Families
Offered virtually and in-person in the Greater St. Cloud, Minnesota area. A 1 hour consult provides individualized support and guidance in your parenting journey. Whether you are preparing for a new baby and would like help with planning, ready to help your baby learn to sleep through the night, wondering what toys and activities will best support your child’s current stage of development, unsure how to respond to a challenging behavior, or looking for strategies to teach a new skill, I’m here to help you navigate this step of your journey with confidence. Larger packages are available for families who want regular check-ins or are looking for support through a new milestone, such as toilet learning, moving to a new sleeping arrangement, or planning a parents’ return to work after a new baby joins the family. Split this time up however it is most helpful, such as a couple of 1 hour consults to create a plan, combined with several quick 15 minute phone calls to check in and a few 30 minute zoom calls to plan for how to handle sleeping in new places for a holiday visit, or how to prepare for toilet learning during vacation.

The Developmental Check In
Have you ever wondered what you could be doing to support the next steps of your child’s development? The Developmental Check In includes a 1 hour consult for me to learn what’s important to your family and ask questions about your child. The consult is followed by several observations of your child playing. You will receive an individualized list of simple, easy to implement activities as well as a shopping list for toys and materials that will meet your child where they are and help them move to the next phase in their development. This package can be used to create a birthday or Christmas list to share with relatives to ensure you receive toys and materials that will align with your child’s development and interests.

The Proactive Parenting Package
If you have ever been accused of “overthinking everything” about parenting, or if you are the type of parent who loves to read and watch parenting content, talk about parenting, and think about new ways to support your child, this monthly package is for you. I will be your thinking partner in all things parenting and child development. You will get answers to all of your questions about raising little kids as they come up, individualized strategies, and guidance anchored in principles of child development, attachment, and early childhood mental health. This package also includes a monthly Proactive Parenting Guide that outlines activities and materials that will support your child in the next stage of their development. Designed to help you navigate the here and now with confidence while mapping out what’s ahead, the Proactive Parenting monthly package includes:
2 30-minute virtual consults and 1 30-minute virtual observation of your child per month
Ongoing text and voice message support with replies within 2 business days for child development and behavior questions
Monthly individualized Proactive Parenting Guide with tips for supporting the next steps of development
Shared log, as requested, for tracking and sharing sleep, a new routine, potty learning, etc. Monitored regularly for feedback.
Individualized resource folder of child development and parenting content chosen specifically for your family
Material review as needed: send the toy, book, or new playroom furniture you’re considering for a review before buying
Pricing: $400 per month
Ongoing text and voice message support only available at $200 per month for families who have had completed a Developmental Check In package
Homeschool Consulting and Curriculum Development
For homeschooling parents of preschool, kindergarten, and 1st grade age children. Ask all of your questions about effective teaching strategies for this age group and how to individualize instruction for your child, get recommendations on books to use in your curriculum planning, or a detailed review of the pros and cons of several curriculum options you are considering. Homeschooling observations are also available virtually or in-person for feedback on incorporating developmentally appropriate teaching strategies.
For families looking for a truly custom approach to homeschooling that is designed for their child specifically, homeschool curriculum development is available. This is more than a traditional curriculum, it is a fully individualized plan to create a developmentally appropriate home environment where learning emerges naturally through intentional play, projects, and daily routines, rather than simply “school at home.” Learning is integrated into life instead of something you do for a few hours every day. Social emotional development is considered alongside academic development. Time commitment is designed for a busy family.
